The Final Orb is the 49th chapter of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest by Hiro Mashima and Atsuo Ueda, a sequel to Fairy Tail.

Wendy learns the specific Separation Enchantment from Irene while Lucy and company begin to round up the whited out members. Meanwhile, Mest destroys the last two orbs which initiates the White Wizard's final plan.

Summary

Natsu and Happy find Wendy seemingly talking to thin air. Natsu thinks it is Wraith again and tries to become a Thought Projection, but has forgotten how to. Wendy finds them, explaining that she was talking to an invisible acquaintance and has learned an enchantment to separate the White Wizard back into two people. The two tell the young Mage that they just faced her and that she is at Back Side church. Before they go, Wendy wants to save Carla. Happy thinks about who he should pick between her and Touka.

Meanwhile, Gray has just barely defeated Mirajane, where she and Elfman are trapped in cards. Cana has also gotten Makarov, Gajeel, Levy, and Panther Lily. They wonder who is left, thinking about Laxus and Jellal among the stronger ones. However, Cana uses her Fortune Telling and confirms both are in no condition to fight. They plan to imprison in a card while he is down.

At the Right Shoulder Town church, Wendy frees Carla. They tell her of the plan to separate the White Wizard from Touka. Carla is shocked to hear the latter is an Exceed, as they know all the Exceeds in Earthland. Shagotte made a list and kept track of all of them, so Carla wonders where Touka came from. Suddenly the ground shakes once again, signalling another orb has been destroyed. At the Left Shoulder Town church, Mest is revealed to be the one who destroyed the orb and quickly teleports to the Back Side church. He finds the White Wizard lying on the ground, who commands him to destroy the final orb and seal Aldoron's power.
