Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Chapter 39

Coo-Coo, the Cocoon Dragon is the 39th chapter of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest by Hiro Mashima and Atsuo Ueda, a sequel to Fairy Tail.

By the time Wendy failed to stop Nebaru from destroying the second orb, Aldoron begins to lose his powers with only three remaining. Wraith becomes confused and questions his blood connection with Makarov during his battle against Natsu.

Summary[]

Wendy faces Nebaru, who asks what kind of Dragon she is, jokingly calling her a cocoon dragon. He tries to wrap Wendy again, but she rolls away to dodge it. She manages to land a hit on him, but he pulls himself to the orb and destroys it. Aldoron begins to shake again, where the White Wizard counts that only three remain before he loses his power.

In the Left Hand Town church, the two Dragon Slayers notice the shaking, and Laxus realizes that another orb has been destroyed. Kiria asks what their plan is by weakening Aldoron, where the lightning Dragon Slayer answers to use Whiteout on him and force him to fight the other Dragon Gods. The Blade Dragon Eater notes that while their goals differ, they have the same means and question why they are fighting. Laxus points out that she was the one who started it, which she smirks as she says that he looked tasty and calls him perfect for an appetizer. Meanwhile, Erza is bound to a tree as Jellal prepares to dye her white. She asks to be let out of these binds as they bring back bad memories, saying she wants to put her hand on his shoulders and touch his cheek. Jellal undoes the binding, and Erza starts unwrapping the bandages around her breasts, much to the blue-haired Mage's surprise. She then ties and blindfolds him, which he giddily takes as her wanting to be in control and lets her. She tells him to stay like this as she returns to the church.

Elsewhere, Natsu faces against Wraith. While possessing Makarov, the Spirit Dragon tells him that the old man's strength has combined with his and throws a giant punch at him, making him crash into a wall. The fire Dragon Slayer asks why the possessed Makarov can his ethereal body when his physical body could not hurt Wraith. The Spirit Dragon Eater answers that whether his attacks hit a solid object or not is dependent on his point of view. He explains that the reason why he was struck by the old man's attack was that Natsu unconsciously decided to make contact from his point of view. Wraith then asks who the old man is, having never experienced a synchro rate like this before. Natsu answers that Makarov is his Guild's master. To Wraith, this explains the enormous Magic Power and judging from his age, might have seen the abyss of death. The ghost realizes that he may have fulfilled the third condition and wonders if he and Makarov are blood relatives.
