Team Effort is the 22nd chapter of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest by Hiro Mashima and Atsuo Ueda, a sequel to Fairy Tail.
Through teamwork, the fight between Team Natsu and the Water Dragon God Mercphobia comes to a conclusion, with Lucy reigning in Natsu after Ignia's power fades away.

Fire Dragon King's Brilliant Flame
Now empowered with Ignia's flames, Natsu faces against the Water Dragon God. Mercphobia fires a powerful roar, but the fire Dragon Slayer counters with Fire Dragon King's Brilliant Flame. The fire from the attack is strong enough to not only stop the roar but push through it and hit the Dragon God, stunning him. Natsu asks the others for help as he cannot beat the Dragon God alone, remembering that they only defeated Acnologia because they fought together. Gray and Erza charge as they are enchanted with Dragon Slayer Seals and aim for the Dragon God's legs. With this, Natsu lands a Demolition Fist.
As Mercphobia collapses, Karameel thinks to herself that this was probably for the best as she and the townsfolk grieve for the Water Dragon God. However, Natsu claims that he is not done yet as there is still the Dragon's body. He ominously says that he must burn every single thing until they all turn to ash, scaring the others as he is about to attack once more. Suddenly, Lucy hugs him from behind, enduring the heat emanating from the Dragon Slayer, to the point that her clothes start burning. She tells him that it is over now, where they both fall to their knees, still embracing the Dragon Slayer. Thanks to this, Natsu calms him down and is brought back to his senses.
