Operation 'Defeat Viernes' Begins is the 138th chapter of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest by Hiro Mashima and Atsuo Ueda, a sequel to Fairy Tail.
Athena informs everyone about Viernes' soul and that in order to sever his connection with Gold Owl, they need the Separation Enchantment and to create the Philosopher's Stone. The Sabertooth Mages search for an Alchemist who can create the stone while Team Natsu and Jellal goes to confront Duke's imposter to retrieve Wendy and Rogue's magic. Once they arrive at Gold Owl, they enter an illusion of the other Fairy Tail members.
