Etherious Form (エーテリアス フォーム Ēteriasu Fōmu) is a mode Etherious are able to access by transformation.
Description[]
An ability exclusive to the Etherious, a subspecies of Demons where they undergo a transformation to unleash their "real power". A form of Demonization where their overall appearances change and morph into a monstrous one. The standard activation method for the Etherious Form seems to be based on the user's mental will.[1] However, few have extra and specific conditions to activate their respective forms, such as Seilah who required her Curse to order the limiter on her body to be released.[2] A Demon can choose to deactivated and reactivated it numerous times consecutively.[3]
Seemingly, an Etherious default appearance prior to their transformation acts almost like a limiter for their Etherious Forms. When an Etherious is defeated, exhausted all their power or knocked unconscious, they are reverted back into their default state.[4] The appearances of their default forms can be created and modified through Tartaros' Hell's Core laboratory.[5] The mere act of activating an Etherious Form appears to heal any wounds and injuries inflicted on their default form, even those caused by Devil Slayer Magic.[6]
General Abilities[]
Enhanced Strength: This state greatly heightens an Etherious' physical prowess to a degree that's capable of fighting on par with some of the strongest Mages in the country in Melee Combat.[7][8]
Enhanced Durability: The Etherious' durability is also increase significantly, capable of taking on a barrage of hits and Magic attacks and still continue fighting.[9]
Enhanced Speed: Some Etherious have shown some extent of their speed amplified, capable of instantly closing the gap between themselves and their targets with little chance of blocking or dodging.[10] How the speed is implemented also varies on the Etherious, such as through flight[11] or swimming methods.[12]
Enhanced Demon Physiology: Almost every Etherious has a unique inhuman form which is augmented by their transformations. Granting the user extra capabilities pertaining to their forms such as clawed talons,[13] bladed appendages,[14] armored skin,[15] wings etc.[16]
Enhanced Curse: While in this state, the ability granted by the user's overall Curses are amplified. Its power and range raised while fully unleashed, and an Etherious gains access to new techniques and abilities which they can't execute normally.[17]
Immense Curse Power: This transformation also unleashed the user's overall curse power, increasing it to maximum level.[18][19]
