Dragonization Magic (竜化魔法 Ryūka Mahō) is a Holder Magic and a variation of Fire Magic which turns individuals into Dragonized beings.
Description[]
The users hold their hands toward each other and generate a wall of flames, which spread out in the form of beams that cause Humans they affect to Dragonize and "activate" the Five Dragon Gods; restoring their full power and reviving any who have died. The Magic is supported by roots spread and Lacrima created by Dogramag. The Magic doesn't affect everyone in the locations where the Lacrima grow (the Five Dragon Gods' lands), but most of those who are affected also have their personalities altered, leading to berserk or aggressive behavior.[1][2][3][4] It also awakens Magic within those who don't normally display it.[5]
The destruction of the Lacrima undoes their effect; turning Dragonized Humans back to normal and calming the rampaging Dragon Gods. Those who were affected don't seem to remember their actions from when they were under the Magic's influence.[6][7] It also causes the Dragon Gods to lose most, and eventually all, of their power.[8][9] It's also possible the Magic can be activated independently of the Lacrima, such as in the case of the members of Fire & Flame who remain Humans after the activation of the Lacrima.[10] In their case, they retain their normal personality after undergoing Dragonization.[11][12][13] Their Dragonization is also undone by their defeat in battle rather than the destruction of a Lacrima.[14]
