Deliora (デリオラ Deriora) is an evil demon created by the Black Mage Zeref. Also known as the Demon of Destruction, it is responsible for countless deaths, among which the parents of Gray Fullbuster.

Appearance

Deliora looked like a giant Demon. His skin is blue and on his head was something that resembles a helmet.

History

Deliora incased in Iced Shell

Before it was brought to the Galuna Island, which was around 10 years ago, Deliora had been destroying cities in the North of the continent, one of them being the Isbin area. After Ur froze it with unmeltable Iced Shell, it was sealed in an iceberg on the Northern continent. Around 3 years ago, Lyon and his comrades brought it from Brago to Galuna Island.

Deliora's "death"

Deliora makes his debut in the Galuna Island arc, brought there in order to be defrosted. This requires the magical properties of the Moon Drip, a powerful kind of spell said to be able to nullify every kind of magical effect. The moon drip was brought into action by Team Lyon, with help from countless other Deliora survivors. Ultear, masked as Zalty, also helped. After about three years of work, Deliora is finally freed, even thought Natsu, Gray, Lucy, Happy and Erza fought against it. However, no one was able to challenge Deliora, as Ur's Iced Shell had been slowly but surely disintegrating Deliora's life force. Moments after its revival, it crumbled like a stone statue, never to terrorize anyone again.

Magic and Abilities

Beams: It was shown that Deliora could shoot a powerful beam from his mouth. It was extremely destructive, so much that it destroyed an entire town with one blast.

Trivia

• After a long residence in the Iced Shell made by Ur, his magic power has disappeared, so he broke into pieces.
