Emperor Spriggan is the 444th chapter of Hiro Mashima's Fairy Tail.

After helping the inhabitants of Caracol Island into fishing vessels, Team Natsu, Wendy, and Carla are all sent to an underwater temple via Mest's Teleportation Magic. Once there they find out that Sorano was the spy all along, and that she knows Makarov's exact location. Meanwhile, in Vistarion, Makarov discusses Emperor Spriggan's personality with Yajeel and, shortly after, he is shocked to realize that the emperor is none other than Zeref himself, returning back home after a year of absence.

Summary

As the Mages of Fairy Tail are gathering people in the boats, Erza marvels about Brandish's strength. Shortly after everything settles though, Mest uses his Teleportation Magic to send the Mages underwater, specifically to a building underneath Caracol Island. A place Mest was invited by a mysterious spy. They begin to wonder how they should proceed next when the building suddenly changes its shape and starts moving rapidly. Afterwards, the spy appears and turns out to be Sorano, who welcomes the Mages to the Olympia Temple. The Mages are shocked to see her, and Sorano tells them that she is there as a favor for Mest. She then shocks everyone by saying that she knows the location of Makarov.
