The Demon's War Cry is the 41st chapter of Hiro Mashima's Fairy Tail.

Natsu attempts to stop Toby from continuing the ritual, but to no avail, as Zalty blocks him. Meanwhile, Gray defeats Lyon in their battle, but Deliora is freed. Gray comes to the conclusion that his only option left is to use Iced Shell to seal Deliora once again.

The ice that is sealing Deliora begins to melt. Natsu attacks Zalty who asks if using his Fire Dragon Slayer Magic is wise. Natsu ignores him and continues to attack so that he can defeat Toby, who is the reason for the moon drip ritual occurring.

Deliora Released

Deliora is freed from its prison

The ruins shake. This means the ceremony is nearing its end, and Lyon tells Gray of everything they did in order to achieve this. Gray thinks it is pointless, and when Lyon chastises him for playing in some guild, he simply counters by saying he followed Ur’s advice of finding more powerful opponents to the west. He then tells him of his first day at Fairy Tail, when the master told him that Ur’s condition was eternal. He then proclaims his disgust at Lyon’s actions, who can only see his ambitions. Lyon attacks, but Gray disarms him, and blocks his Ice-Make: Snow Tiger using his Ice-Make: Prison. The tiger cannot release itself, which Gray explains that it is because Lyon's creatures are out of balance, having been created with one hand. He then uses his Ice-Make: Ice Cannon to finish Lyon off.

As he does so, a cacophonic noise fills the air. Deliora is freed, and Gray’s only apparent choice is to use Iced Shell.
