To My Damn Brats, Full of Pride is the 252nd chapter of Hiro Mashima's Fairy Tail.
The dragon, Acnologia lands on Tenrou Island and causes destruction. Zeref says goodbye to Natsu, and the current era, as he leaves the destruction of the island. Makarov realizes the dragon will kill them all and faces it head on, telling everyone to leave, and to obey what may be his final demand...
Synopsis
Acnologia destroying the island
The members of the guild start feeling an ominous presence surrounding them. Soon after, a loud cry reaches their ears as Wendy realizes that it is the cry of a dragon. The members get together as Pantherlily points to a large winged-beast flying in the sky. As everyone ponders it, Bickslow realizes that it is a dragon. The dragon slayers are shocked as they realize that dragons still exist in the worlds. Makarov calls it the black dragon of the apocalypse, Acnologia. Natsu tries asking it where Igneel is, to no success as it comes down and devastates the land.
Acnologia attacking the Fairies
The dragon's size frightens everyone while Gildarts tells them to run for it. They try heading back to the ship as it continues to destroy the surroundings. Charle asks Wendy if she can talk to the dragon but Wendy replies that she can't, but adds that dragons can understand them due to their high intelligence but it chooses not to. Zeref, elsewhere, states that dragons believe themselves to be superior to humans and will not communicate, as humans don't communicate with household pests. He states that the era is coming to an end and says goodbye to Natsu.
Makarov vs. Acnologia
As the dragon approaches, Makarov tells everyone to escape as he uses his Titan Magic to grow into a giant and hold back the dragon. Others run showing concern for the master. The Thunder God Tribe tries to help but are ordered back, Makarov berating them for disobeying their master's final orders, a word which shocks Mirajane. Natsu tries to fight since he is a dragon slayer but is grabbed and pulled away by Laxus. Though angry, he does not fight back as he notices Laxus' tears as he leaves his grandfather behind.
Everyone in tears runs away as Makarov continues to battle the beast, asking if sadness can really kill someone and why they cry. He tells them that the answer is in their hearts and that they must live on into the future.
