Code ETD! is the 179th chapter of Hiro Mashima's Fairy Tail.
Full Summary
Lucy, Happy and Charle is surrounded by the Royal Guards and the Imperial Guards. Meanwhile inside the castle, the king sees the Exceeds and orders to invoke Code ETD. Charle is telling Happy and Lucy to go inside a building when a horn was blown and flags were raised. Code ETD, the final defense plan for national security, was invoked. Rays of light came from all corners and shined on the Exceeds. Lucy and Happy wonders what is going on but Charle tells them to head for Wendy and Natsu. Edo-Erza notices them and orders her guards to fortify the defenses on the west tower basement. Meanwhile, the Exceeds were turned into a giant cat shape Lacryma. Before being turned to the Lacryma, Nichiya tells the humans that the queen will avenge them.
The Royal Guards was confused about what they have done. The king then announces that it is the time for them to overrule the Exceeds. Back at the ground, we see that Hughes and Sugarboy is happily anticipating the events but Pantherlily seems angry after realizing the reason there was a military build up. The guards were not convinced by Faust, saying that the queen will retaliate. The king then reveals the reason why he captured the Dragon Slayers and ordered Byro to proceed with the extraction of their Magic.
Meanwhile, Lucy, Happy and Charle are heading down the west tower basement when they were attacked by Edo-Erza who uses her spear to create an explosion injuring the three. Suddenly, they hear Wendy's screams. Lucy asks what is happening while Charle begs them to stop. Edo-Erza says that they are going to die there anyway. Happy then stands up and shields Charle from Edo-Erza saying that he will not let her touch Charle. Edo-Erza then decided to kill Happy first when Earth Land Erza and Gray arrives to save them. Saying that anyone who harms a member of Fairy Tail is their enemy...
