The Calamity Bloods (竜禍五血烬 Karamiti Buraddo) are a notorious team of Dragons from 400 years ago whose past selves were brought forward to the year X791 by Future Rogue Cheney while their present selves were restored by Dogramag in the year X793.[1]
Overview[]
A band of Dragons selected for distinguishably killing mass amounts of Humans before the appearance of Acnologia, whom they weren't a match for even when banded together. For over the next 400 years, Ignia and Dogramag formed a plan to restore the five dragons. Dogramag preserved their bodies and spread his "roots" throughout the continent of Guiltina to absorb power from the Earth and feed it to them, making them more powerful than before.[2]
After consuming the heart of the Law Dragon Elefseria, Dogramag was able to use it to advance the plan in the last 100 years, all while even when he was supposedly dead but his corpse conjured a labyrinth that continued to spread across the land each year until Ignia destroyed the heart to awaken Dogramag when the necessary restoration for Calamity Bloods was complete.[3][4] Dogramag remained alive all that time using Elefseria's heart as a catalyst for his life force.[5]
The Calamity Bloods were stored within an underground cavern. Days after destroying the heart, Ignia sensed their near awakening and arrived just as they began to emerge from massive eggs in human forms. Ignia informed them on what became of Acnologia and to join him in reigning over humans once again.[6]
