The Books of Faris are, as the name suggests, a series of Magic books written by the Black Wizard Faris.
Appearance[]
Not much is known about the appearance of each individual book, but the book containing Blade is shown as a slightly tattered volume with various rips and tears in the cover. It has Blade's name written in large black letters on the cover and the spine. On the front cover, there is a picture of a pair of swords crossing each other.[1] The book containing Gate similarly has his name written in large black letters on the front cover, which also features a drawing of an intricately designed gate.[2]
Description[]
The books are creations of Faris, similar to the Books of Zeref, taking on the form of Demons much much like the Etherious.[3][4] Gaia claims they were born from her love. Faris' Demons are especially loyal to her, following her mission and attempting to remove any enemies in her way.[5] Should any of her Demons die, they revert to their book forms and disintegrate, although Blade claims that them dying is simply returning to Faris.[6]

Not much is known about the contents of each book, though presumably, they give descriptions and details about the specific Demon they bring forth.
- Daemon (デーモン Dēmon): A Human looking Demon with horns that melts anything with cards that expel acidic fluids.[8]
- Gate (ゲート Gēto): Another Human looking Demon with horns dressed in a suit. His power is said to be similar to Hades.[9]
- Bird (バード Bādo): A humanoid Demon with avian qualities and features who manipulates black-colored wind.[10]
- Blade (ブレイド Bureido): A Demon swordsman who can read minds and perform quick, soundless slashes.[11][12]
