Bestia (ベスティア Besutia) is the commander of Fire & Flame, holding the first rank in the Dark Guild's hierarchy, not counting Ignia himself.

Appearance

Bestia appears behind Faris

Having undergone Dragonization like her Guildmates, Bestia appears as a young woman with distinctly draconic features. Her large eyes are parent to light irises, long dark lashes, thin brows perpetually raised in the middle, and a single dark, tear-like streak extending down from each eye, with the skin below the eyes being ribbed. She has similarly dark lips, ears that come to elf-like points, two large horns jutting up from the corners of her forehead (dark-colored from the roots up, but transitioning into a lighter shade towards their tips), and long hair that flows upwards wildly, in such a way as to resemble fire. Bestia's fingers are long and tipped with dark nails, and a sizable tail with leathery skin grows from her lower back. In terms of clothing and accessories, Bestia wears a crown of thorns that has a brooch in the middle resembling a heraldic sun (with wavy rays), as well as a multi-layered dress of light color, going below her feet, having tattered edges, wide sleeves each printed with a horizontal dark line that has vertical spikes jut up and down from it, and a hooded collar.

Magic and Abilities

Bestia's alternate space

Unknown Magic: Bestia wields an unknown variant of Fire Magic that, according to Misfortune, grants her access to special flames: specifically the "Power of Hellfire" (獄炎の力 Gokuen no Chikara) that can burn up everything, and which may even allow Natsu Dragneel to awaken his true power if he were to eat said flames. Using her Magic allows Bestia to transport herself and anyone in close proximity to her into an alternate space, by means of a dark vortex that acts as a portal; said space resembles an inverted plane where the ground is overhead (consisting of dessicated earth from which black, dead-looking trees grow) and an empty sky below, with Bestia and whomever she brought with her floating in midair. The Black Wizard Faris has identified Bestia's Magic as being a form of Transference Magic (転移魔法 Ten'i Mahō) as well as Spatial Magic, plus containing "Power of Darkness" (闇の力 Yami no Chikara), with Bestia herself noting that entering this space is necessary given that she ought not unleash her great darkness in the real world.
