Angelica is a giant rat, owned and used in battle by Sherry Blendi.

Appearance

Angelica is a incredibly huge rat with light blue coat. According to Sherry, Angelica is female, which she emphasizes by dressing her in pink, lace clothes, very similar to her own.

Synopsis

Galuna Island arc

Angelica is first seen ambushing Natsu, Lucy, Gray and Happy as they explore the island to investigate the curse. She was, however, beaten up by Natsu and Gray when the latter uses his Ice Make: Floor and she slips.

She is then seen carrying a giant container of acid jelly. With Sherry, Yuka and Toby on her back. Sherry orders her to spill the container over the village, but Natsu used his Fire Dragon's Brilliant Flame to save the villagers. As the Mages prepares to fight, the villagers leaves the village carrying the unconscious Gray. Sherry and Angelica went after them, but Lucy, trying to stop them, was accidentally caught by Angelica's claw. Trying to make them stop, Lucy tickles Angelica causing the three of them to fall to the forest. Angelica falls unconscious after falling from the high altitude.

After Lucy defeats Sherry, Angelica arrives to attack Lucy but Erza arrives and easily defeated her.

Angelica, together with Team Lyon, is seen watching as Team Natsu leaves the island. Toby is seen crying while Lyon is asking Sherry about guilds.

Magic and Abilities

Flight

Enhanced Strength: Because of Angelica's enormous size, she has the strength to carry a giant container full of acidic jelly.

Enhanced Breath: Angelica basically emits a cloud of foul-smelling gas at her enemies. This works even better when the enemy has an enhanced sense of smell like Natsu.

Flight: Using her tail, she can spin it like a propeller and fly.

Appearances in Other Media

Angelica appears in Fairy Tail's first official video game, Fairy Tail Portable Guild. She only appears as one of Sherry (a playable character)'s special attacks. In this attack Sherry summons Angelica and she rushes forward. Like most large-sized creatures that appear in the game Angelica's size is greatly reduced.
